MCF Achieves AS9100B & IS09001:2008 Certification
Military & Commercial Fasteners Corp., manufacturer and distributor of fasteners and components, is proud to announce a landmark achievement in becoming certified as compliant to the AS9100B & ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) standards. MCF was certified by KEMA Registered Quality of Chalfont, PA, which is accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board.
AS9100B, issued by the International Aerospace Quality Group, (IAQG) is accepted globally as the inclusive standard that defines QMS requirements for the Aviation, Space and Defense Industries. AS9100B is derived from and contains the popular ISO9001:2008 management standard, therefore by default, this certifies MCF to ISO9001:2008 as well.
MCF underwent a stringent evaluation process that lasted eight and half days and included detailed auditing of all process documentation, quality records, conformance to procedures and policies, continuous improvement initiatives, and overall product and service quality. The scope of the audit spread across all aspects of the business contained in four York, PA facilities. This included Human Resources and training records, Network Integrity, Purchasing, Sales and Customer Satisfaction, Manufacturing and Machining Operations, Packaging and Kitting, Product Inspection and Testing, Warehouse Operations as well as our Third Party Services Division which provides logistical and distribution support.

The certification confirms our policies, practices and procedures ensure consistent quality in the products and services. This registration is another example of MCF’s commitment to our mission statement, which states:
